BYU football trying to stay focused, not look too far ahead

No sport requires as much of participants with as little actual game action as football does.

Players and coaches train and workout and practice and recruit and study for months, all to be ready for a mere 50 hours of being in the spotlight (12-to-15 contests) in a given season.
